MAWA has a food stall (W10) located at the Good Grocers carpark. This is a good opprunity for MAWA to introduce our traditional food to the wider Australian community and raise some much-needed funds at the same. Friends and members of MAWA are invited to support the MAWA stall.

The committee requests the community members to support MAWA in preparation of the food items and in manning the stall.  Please contact Ms Bisha Balan (0449 208 973), Mrs Susy Thomas (0433 652 680)  or Dr. Raj Kurup (0402 843 429) for further information. Your help is very much needed!!!!!!!!

Update

MAWA participation at The Jacaranda Festival was well received by the residents of Applecross as well as the members and well wishers of the Rotary Club of Applecross, who turned out in large numbers mesmerised by the draft of the spicy aroma of the purest Malayalee cuisine. Many of the visitors to our stall returned for more which says a great deal about the efforts and hard work by our members – both committee and the general community. Once again a number of community members helped make our entry in this festival worthwhile – by actively participating in cooking, serving, all forms of support activities like logistics and crowd management. The committee wishes to thank the community for the support and encourages members to provide constructive feedback for improvement.
